Sorry if this is a dumb question, but my grill is the stock chrome type grill. I always wanted a painted type grill to match the smoke color of my Titan, is this what you did to yours? Was yours originally chrome and you painted it black and then silver? I would love to get more info on this process if you don't mind.

You're better off trading your chrome grille for a smoke grille. I'm sure you can find someone local that would trade with you.

the black grill was actually the chrome finish, and the silver is the factory painted radiant silver.

like n2 said, you're better off trading it.

I think it will be fairly tough to find someone with a painted grill to trade me for my chrome finish. But I'll look around and see what I can come up with. I actually thought it will probably be easier to somehow get rid of the chrome finish and have a local paint and body shop to color match it.
