DRUM ROLL PLEASE!

Just ran mine tonight at Va Motorsport Park. About 60 degrees outside, nice weather. Oh, I have the banks system installed just last night (I havent reset my ECU though, so more power might be dwelling... oh yeah, 87 octane too)

15.62 at 87.5 thats with powerbraking with the trac assist off.

I couldnt get away from 15.6s thats all I could run no matter how I launched.

Funny story though, I staged up next to a new EVO. I figured I'd give him a run out of the hole, so I stuck it in 4WD LO (KIDS! DONT TRY THIS AT HOME!!). Now granted the kid couldnt launch very well, but I ran a 2.143 60 ft time (compare that to a 2.467, my best in 2wd) It was sooooo funny, I killed him off the line and had him by mid track. Of course he walked me I ran outta gear at 78mph!

OK, now that Im offically a Titan abuser, you can scold me now

I wonder how she'd run with decent gas and a reset ECU, hmmm (walks out to the truck to diconnect the batt)

Most of the fast diesel trucks use 4WD HI when they race to get traction. It doesn't seem to bother as long as you aren't turning a lot. 4WD probably takes some extra power but the traction advantage may be worth it. Do you have the Offroad or Bigtow packages?

i may take it down the quarter some time, but for right now, i am extremely satisfied with what it ran in the 1/8. i have an 1/8 mile about ten miles away, so it is convienant. i am pretty sure it is the best it will run, and i have no plans for modifieng, seeing as it is mainly my wife's daily vehicel, so not more racing it for awhile.

BTW 15.62 is nice for a truck.

PS hopefully i will have my eleven second twin turbo charge 5.0 coupe running good soon. so who would want to race a pickup anyway.

I ran a !/4 mile in 15.55 at 89 MPH. Still beats a Hemi.

three runs

I got 3 runs in before it started raining. SE Crew cab w/ Sgt. Hulka's Big Toe package.

............1st run.........2nd run..................3rd run: (spun bad)
launch...1500rpm........2000...................... 2500
note......trans in D......trans in D, tow on....manual shift
60'........2.274............2.271................. ...2.689
330'......6.485............6.475.................. ..7.355
1/8.......9.943............9.920.................... 10.910
mph......71.12............71.40................... .69.68
1000'....12.931..........12.900..................1 3.941
1/4......15.435...........15.405..................16 .472
mph.....90.13............89.95.................... 89.24

It was 82 degF and humidity at 100%. With cooler and dryer air 15.3s would have been easy. With 1/4 tank of gas and me in it, the truck weighed 5082 pounds on the NHRA certified scales at Houston Raceway Park.

My buddy was out there in his Tundra for giggles. 16.3 was his best. He said I would drive away the entire run. We even had identical reaction times on one run.

My truck is bone stock. I guess it's time for bolt-ons!

the head what do you weigh?-checking Nissan's weight

the head what do you weigh?Nissan must be pretty close on their weight they say a CC SE 2WD weighs 4857 lbs,7 gallons of gas is about 42 lbs.If you weigh 183 or so ready to race(really anywhere from 150-210) I would say Nissan is pretty close to right.Of course, you probably have other options, some weight a fair amount-hitch etc.
Pretty fast times.I had a Tundra Access cab;it felt decently quick, but the Titan definitely has more motor. Thanks,Charlie` ps,do you have the 3.36 rear end that comes with Big Tow and Offroad?
Can Any of our dragracing guys out there tell us how many HP 90 mph in the 1/4 is equal to in this truck-5082 lbs??
