Mods: 2 down, 1 to go

Completed installing the K&N AirCharger last nite after having a Flowmaster 50 series muffler w/ 1 inlet-2outlet installed with S.S. dual outlet tips.
I'm going to replace the 50 series w/ a 70 series muffler Thursday - too loud for an old man.
After the muffler is replaced, I'll be off to MTI for another dyno.

Going to Tweeter's in the a.m. to have the Nissan XM upgrade installed. I'm hoping the RF stereo will sound significantly better w/ different antenna and digital music - fingers crossed.

You guys/gals have been more help to me than you'll ever know. The Forum posts have allowed me to make informed decisions w/ regard to mods and other various and sundry items.

Are you going to use the through the glass mount antenna which comes with the kit or a low profile roof top through the third-brake light? I was thinking about using the low profile if I could find some non-metallic silver paint to match my truck.

something like this:

But maybe it needs a splitter for two leads. Like This:

Hey there,

Did you install the "70" yet?

I held off on the "50" because I felt it would be too loud...I like a nice "rumble"

Best...: At this time I'll probably go with the Nissan antenna because I don't think Tweeter's sells the antennas separately and I don't have time to order and receive one like you've linked to; although, I do prefer the lower profile.

Sedona: The 70 series will go on tomorrow in place of the 50 series. I'll let you know my thoughts on it vs. the 50. Sedona

After getting to Tweeter's for installation, I found a Sirius module had been sent to me, instead of XM, so I now have Sirius for the Titan and XM for my other 2 vehicles. Yea, I know XM offers lower prices for additional units; I figured what the heck.
My first impression is the sound is significantly improved - almost like the factory audio system had been designed for Sat. Radio rather than AM/FM bands. I highly recommend the satellite radio as a less expensive improvement to the sound than an aftermarket system.
Radio button toggles between AM/FM/SAT as has been previously mentioned.

Steve,

Where do you live? If nearby, I would like to hear your new exhaust system. I am currently STILL considering the Banks but would like to weigh all of my options before deciding. BTW, I live and work in North Richland Hills (basically Ft. Worth).

I live... in South Dallas - just kidding - ...about 3 hrs south of Dallas, approx. 25 miles due west of Conroe in Plantersville, just 7 mi. north of Magnolia. You're welcome to listen to the 70 series Flowmaster after I have in put on tomorrow a.m.; just give me a call.
