"Nissan pegged plenty of performance benchmarks with the Titan because they knew the Titan had to be good to enough show up on the radar of domestic truck shoppers. “We don’t have a lot of credibility in this segment,” said Larry Dominque, Chief Product Specialist, Nissan Titan. Their goals for building the Titan were to make an expressive shape that had the best in class power, fuel economy and driving range.
To that end, the Titan comes with a 5.6-liter V-8 rated at more than 300 horsepower and 375 pound-feet of torque. Loosely based on the Infiniti V-8, Nissan calls this iteration the “Endurance” V-8. The 300 hp is achieved without the use of variable valve timing; Dominique says with VVT the engine can “easily make 30 or 40 hp more,” and also notes that a supercharger will fit neatly in the V-8’s 90-degree valley. The V-8 does have other semi-exotic hardware, though, including a microfinished forged steel crankshaft and moly-coated pistons."
So where is that neatly fitting supercharger? That should push things up to around 400 HP. Or are we forever doomed to eat the dust of SS Silverado's and even blown Tundras??

we need to bring hemi777 back in here to show us some tips on coke bottles mods to make our TITAN's faster, haha. honestly though, we need superchargers for the these beats. these things are already kings of the road in truckland, imagine a supercharged TITAN.... oh my...
Give it time guys, these trucks are new. Trust me I am sure that people like Powerdyne, MagnaCharger, and the like are hard at work figuring out how to make it fit and run right. But if you guys are that worried about having a supercharger why not piece together your own kit?
I have a suspicion that Nissan will have a turbo and/or a turbo diesel option for the Titan in '05. Nissan knows that the new Tundra will be here soon and that something is needed to take the wind out of the Tundra's sales when it hits the showroom. The Titan could be already designed to facilitate a different engine being slipped under the hood.

Kenne Bell makes the best thing for a truck. The screw compressors are much better on heavier vehicles than the centrifugals. In my opinion. If they make one I may have to break down and get one.
