Mufflers that everyone has changed too...

Based on searching through this site, I have comprised up a list of which mufflers the custom guys are going to:

Magnaflow
Flowmaster
Gibson
Borla
Banks

So no one has switched over to:

Dynomax
Ravin
Flowtech

or any other ones... If I did not get yours on the list please let me know... Curious what everyone is running... Thanks.

Flowmaster 70 dual in/out. 2.25" all the way to 3.5" rolled chrome tips. Stainless steel X-pipe. What am I saying, it's all in my signature, I could have just said Hey.

Full boar exhaust. 3" in dual 2.5" out. 3.5" ss tips 45(roughly) degree out behind rear wheels. Although this is the first time I have heard of this muffler, I let my muffler guy talk me into it. It sounds great, but between 1700 and 2000 rpm's it has some crazy resonance inside the cab. I dont mind it some much, but I can see were some people would hate it. I am a big fan of the flowmaster. I had the 70 series and a 40 series on my gmc 5.7 liter. Both sounded great, although the 40 series was louder outside. If I had to choose again, I would definatly go with flowmaster. Just my opinion.

For a cure for my resonance, I am going to dynomat the back wall and the floor. This will also help out later stereo upgrades that I am planning. I believe this will help, but not cure the problem completly. Just the price to pay to have the toys I like. I get lots of compliments though.

What jeepinfun said. The Banks should have been included in the poll but I guess that's what "other" is for.

Question for you Russ101....

Which Ravin did you go with? Z - 33, 55, or 77? Curious how you like it?
