Talking Magnaflow dual exhaust

Just had a Magnaflow dual in dual out exhaust installed at House of Muffflers in Denver. Did a great job. Exhaust exits behind the rear wheels and the sound is slightly louder than stock(which I wanted) until you hammer it and you get a nice sound coming out, nice blurble at idle too. Also installed a Green filter(K+N type). Exhaust has 2 rolled/chrome steel tips. Total cost $570.00.....

Nice more magnaflow converts!!!!!. I have the same using the 5x11 dual in dual out,and mine was all together 500, and that is after changing out the first muffler which was too loud. I have slant cut 4" tips on mine

Torch, Smoke,
Do you experience any resonances (drones) from the new muffler setups?

nope.. my 5x11 fixed my resonance ( Is itill have the volant kick in sound at 2900 rpms--race car like)--I will say though I got more punch low end out of the 5x8. while with the 5x8 I could spin my tires all the time, with the 5x11 I have to work at it, but I have way more horses on the freeway above 3000rpm and the truck moves through gear changes smoother--somtimes I cant even feel the shift point. and it is way quiter--my family liked this better the rumble sound it about the same outside, but inside the cabin the sound is near stock maybe even quiter depending on the conditions

Thumbs up

I wouldn't call it a drone but the loudest it gets in the cab is about 1800/2000 rpm,40-45mph on slight exceleration, otherwise I'm pretty happy with the volume. I was really concerned about noise. I take service calls 24x7 and did not want to wake the neighbors etc. but wanted just a slight change in tone.
