Juma, just went out and checked... look again behind the grill in front of the radiator. There is about a 20" wide by 4-6" deep (varies across the width) gap that would probably be perfect for your horn. Also, as a mounting spot for the compressor, look at the driver's side inner fender well area slightly behind and to the inside, but lower, of the intake box... sort of above and to the left of the exhaust manifold (left being driver's side) of Bank 1

roger. sort of wanted to keep the radiator unblocked and have the horn blow straight out the front for blast effect. but, I do acknowledge a horn there most likely wouldn't affect cooling and you gotta make some compromises. I would put a 6 inch square thin speaker in there as rumrunner has done. I'm still looking at it. I was aiming perhaps at having it blow out one of the tow hook holes. If that mex horn will fit for you, absolutely do it. they are fun. juma

ohhh, that horn is long gone... along with that vehicle. Just brings back memories of people jumping out of my lane thinking that a locomotive was crawling up their bumper.
Every time I go to buy oil, I see those air horn kits and the horns look SOOO small compared to a real one, so I'm just not sure how well they work. Has anyone ever used the auto parts store air horns?

Juma, it looks like it would be pretty tough to get a horn like that pointing straight out, although it would have the best sound to people in front of you... Of course if its loud enough, anyone in any direction will hear it

Maybe I will try one of those electric ones. It wasn't a big deal before running an air line to the horn as I had air ride on that vehicle and I just routed another line under the vehicle to a seperate valve that was powered by a momentary push button switch on the dash.
Not having air ride, I would have to have at least a tank and preferrably an on-board compressor.... Not worth it to me just to get a really friggin loud horn.

Well I'm still looking at it too. Finally had to quit last nite as the mosquitos drove me in. A lot of things are possible if that windshield washer tank could go somewhere else. also, I'm looking at those off-road wheels like yours. that was a real good idea to get less unsprung weight and a smoother ride. juma

If you want some nice little touch ups for under the hood , go to your dealers parts window and ask for the NISMO radiator cap, oil filler cap, and gas cap.
All of these ad a nice touch to your truck, and the radiator cap actualy makes your engine run noticably cooler. These are all general parts that wil fit ANY nissan and give it a factory tuned look.
