Thanks Guys!!! 5 days, 550 miles and already 5 mods
I just picked up a new 2012 Titan SV CC with Sport Appearance package last week and already performed 5 mods, lol. Working at a Nissan dealer made it too easy to access the parts and do it. It is a 2wd with 3.36 gears.
1.) Stock timing was -2* and I bumped to +2* running 91 octane
2.) 170*F thermostat ala 300zx
3.) Airbox mod w/K&N filter (traded my used car tech a good paper one)
4.) Throttle body screen removed
5.) Throttle body coolant bypass
Truck was getting 16 mpg out of the gate the first tank in bumper to bumper traffic. A ~300 mile road trip this past weekend averaged 19.7 mpg. With a mere 550 miles on the odometer I will take that all day long.
Someday I may tune it, run a Magnaflow dual exhaust and a quiet CAI

...just you wait, first its performance, then the list goes on and on and you're stuck with a truck like mine lol
Its a pretty cool truck all the way around. The seats are two tone, charcoal trim with grey inserts where you sit and lettering similar to the 80s Camaros that says Titan. It has the center console with console mounted shifter. The cluster is from the Pro 4x package with the white face. 20" gunmetal wheels. We had two of these trucks on the lot at work. One Galaxy Black and one white.
Trust me, I know all too well about the mod bug. My previous truck was a Hemi swapped 2006 Quad Cab Ram 1500. Started life with a 4.7, but soon got a cammed hemi with long tube headers, 3" dual exhaust, 3,000 stall torque converter, 4.56 gears, and a few other tweaks. Was running 13.40s in the 1/4, but finally after 4 transmissions gave up on going fast in it. We are in the process of returning it back to a cammed 4.7 with shorty headers so that my brother can have an affordible truck to drive.
The reason I picked this truck is it reminded me of the NightRunner Dodge Rams that were a specialty truck back around 2006. I looked at one but could not afford it at the time. Was standing outside on the lot when this one rolled off the transport, saw it come in the shop for PDI and tint, eye raped it for 2 weeks walking by it everyday, before finding out some Titan's had up to $6,000 rebates and discounts on them. Found out it fell within the criteria for the biggest rebates, so I BVA'd the truck for the night, the next day my sales department desperate for sales made a deal with me I couldn't refuse. Even had a painless experience in our finance department, got a killer interest rate for not putting a penny down as well.

Thanks man!
Window tint has already been arranged, will look like my old Ram when its done.
As for the step rails, at the moment they are staying.
I want to toss a lower air dam from an Armada on the front.
On the way home I decided to film a 0-60 run just to see what it would time out as. Right at 6 seconds after the traction control kept the tires from really spinning, despite being in the off position. Well that and the throttle restriction really put a damper on the take-off fun compared to my old Ram.

Thanks guys! I will be sure to get some more pictures in the daylight after I get the windows re-tinted and the truck cleaned up after our recent rain showers and nasty weather.
