Putting on JBA longtubes and PRT catted B pipes to go with my existing Magnaflow model MF-15848 catback. I am also running the stock airbox. Hoping to avoid too much noise bit have this resonator in a shopping cart just in case.

Well I picked up a Vibrant UQ 1142 from Amazon. Dropped off my truck today to have it installed above/behind rear axle. Hoping for the best, like most I have a picky wife that hates the Drone. By the way, I have a MagnaFlow 15848 System with single 3" out. Fingers Crossed. Thanks to all TT members for the great info. Will check back in later with a result.

I'm going to order a Vibrant UQ resonator 1142 to hopefully kill the drone from my Banks Monster exhaust. My question is will the resonator fit over the 3" banks pipe? Do I need to get lap joint band clamps or butt joint band clamps?

Just has the exhaust reworked again - drone is still there with banks mid and Y, 3" bullet, and a UQ dumped before the axle. Any ideas?

The 3" 1142 fit my 3" jba pipe perfect. Dumped exhaust is just gonna drone from my experience.

Got mine from amazon for $90.
