Test drove three diff exhaust systems today

My buddy runs the local nissan dealership and three of the employes have Titans, one has the Banks system, the other has Duals with a flowmaster muffler and next we have a magnaflow single set up, they wanted to try a few different thing to see what worked the best, after spending about 10min in each truck on the highway as well as in town I would say hands down the Banks is a runnaway winner, it has a good rumble to it and it delivers the best jump off the gas pedal compared to the other two, Excellent passing at 60-70 mph, the flowmaster would be my second choice followed by the magnaflow, but the magnaflow seemed pretty weak to me, all had a stock air filter, the Banks also looked real good with its massive polished rolled tip, really accented the Titan, Plus when I drove around town every guy in a Dodge hemi starred at me. I havent heard much from the Gibson camp and I know Borla is comming out with something but I have seen enough, I WILL get the Banks system ASAP......

Is the banks system a single? I would not like to have duals but would consider a change for a single that prduced more power.

Yes, the Banks is a single in/out that replaces all pipe post flange. There are numerous threads on it, do a search.

Yes, all three trucks shared the same axle ratio, all three owners had the same mechanic install thier exhaust systems and he did state that duals on the Banks would be worhtless for more HP, The banks comes in a single set up, I just ordered mine from a place called www.4x4groupbuy.com for $467.99, its the cheapest price I have found from a reputable dealer, his # is 602-595-5739 ask for Jason, I am almost finished with my custom fiberglass sub enclosure, I found a way for 2 12" subs to fit in the king cab and still have people sit on the seats,I will be offering them to anyone who is interested, they will come painted or unpainted, loaded or empty, pics to come after completion, give me a week.

What about gas mileage though? I have THE WORST gas mileage on this fourm for some reason (11.5 mpg light foot) Would a system like this make things worse? Be honest, cause there are guys on this fourm sayin stuff like they get 19mpg or some junk like that which is bull-s. What about the warrentee?

No, a cat back system like these should only aid your mileage. And I wouldn't call people getting 19mpg BS. I consistantly get 18+ mpg highway. Around town.. That's another story.

On a highway trip I got 19.3 mpg (4x2 CC). On an average tank which is about half and half city/highway I average around 16. And no, I am not full of BS!!

I hit 19.1 over a 204 miles trip at 55-60 miles per hour. No BS, but only once. My next best trips were 16.8 and 16.7. I also had a 111 mile jaunt run 10.1. It varies.
