I'm just interested in hearing from people who are leaning more toward a fast sport truck, rather than a 4x4 offroad beast.
I personaly would like to see some Titans giving SVT Lightnings a run for their money and destroying those Dodge Bumble Bee Hemi Rams.
If this is more your goal , I'd like to hear about it on this thread.
Please post pics and ideas, and I hope to see alot of traffic here.

So far I've not accomplished anything (mode wise) but I would rather go the street route than the offroad route. My thinking would be to go the suspension route first, lower it a few inches, stiffer suspension - sway bar etc etc. With the Titan being so new there really isn't much offered for it.
Too bad I haven't seen any good lowering kits yet. I'm looking to drop my Titan also, so if you see any good products, let me know.
I think a 2" front ,3" rear drop would be perfect and shouldn't change the drivability of the truck.

There is a thread on here about a nice lowering kit, one is 2" / 4" and I believe there is a 4" / 6" kit. I'll try to hunt it down. Ahh here it is when will they have a lowering kit?
I think you will be very hard pressed to keep up with a Lightning. At the track, those guys are beating me in my Z (and Im not too slow).
I agree since the Lightning was built just for that purpose but it would nice to get as close to the Lightning's performance level as much as possible. Besides, a straight road has to end some time and I would rather spend my time playing around in the twisties.
I would like to make my Titan as fast as I can but I seem to have to many toy's to spread the money around on. Besides the Titan can already blow away my modded Camaro

I keep bugging Vortec and Nismo to make a supercharger. I think that if enough of us email Vortec and Nismo then they will hurry up and make a supercharger for us. I email them all the time asking when they are going to come out with a sc as many of us are anxious to buy one.
The supercharger is probably going to come out in response to any other manufacturer who dares beefing up their engine to meet or beat the Titan.
Tundra for '06 was supposed to be it, but now it seems Toyota has been bit by the Hybrid bug and that remains to be seen. Chevy is the sleeper of the bunch. Other than making the SS package cheaper for main stream buyers, they might have a few tweaks up their sleeves to try and surprise the big dogs, ie. Titan and Hemi.

does nismo have anything for the TITAN.... it sucks seeing how much trd does for toyota and how little nismo does for us..
NISMO STEMS VALVE CAPS and NISMO OIL CAP. At $8.99 and $3.99 respectively.
