BESTITAN how did you do your xbox install? I have some long duck hunting trips coming and would like to take my PS2 with me to make the drive seem shorter for the guys in the back. My thoughts were a power inverter and to hook it up through the input on my DVD player.

nuckle- i do not know how to tell you how to hardwire, and it has to be in the back. do you have the dvd screen? if you do, then plug the red yellow and white plugs in the dvd base, and plug the power into a AC/DC power converter, which you can pick up from a local GameStop for what you need it for.

Some of the show trucks have molded a screen into the center portion of the dash where the top tray exists (if you don't have the NAV). Did you get a chance to look at the AVIC N1?

I have NAV and DVD. I feel fairly certain that I can get the PS2 to work. I am just wondering how small of a inverter will run the PS2.

Hmmm.. trouble is inverters are all rated differently by the company who makes them. I have one that says 350 watts peak, I'm sure its no where near 100 watts. You might ask a local audio installer. I'm sure most custom shops have put in entertainment systems that included a game console.

If at all possible, do not use an inverter. You will have better success (and higher quality) if you use a DC>DC power supply.
