Wheel Question?

I went wheel shopping today. I found a set of 20" Akuza OJ with 275/55/20 tires for 1850.$ mount balance everything or the same wheel only 22 with 305/45/22 for 2400$. Is that a good price.

That sounds about right for that particualr wheel and tire set up. I sell the same set here at the dealership for 1995.00 installed.

Really need to know which brand/model of tires you are looking at as well. Who is quoting you the prices? Local or Internet?

Okay...Im assuming that the tires are Hankook Ventus ST RH06 tires because that is the only Ventus series tire that comes in those sizes (at least what I was able to find).
If that is true, then the the 20" deal is okay....I actually came up to $1812. But the 22" deal is Awesome!! I found the 22's online for $359 each, and the tires for $319 each....totaling $2712.
Either way you go.....just remember that if you decide on the 20's- your overall diameter will go down to approx 31.91 (your current OD is approx. 32.61 with the 265/70/18's) The 22's will put you at approx. 32.81 OD. If you stick with the 20's- I'd go with a 305/50/20....IMO. I just put this size on my truck and they look great and don't rub. Hope this helps.....

one question does the wheel and tire one you truck stick out from the under the truck?

I have a 20x9.5" wheel with 305/50/20's. The backspacing is 5.5- and my wheels stick out maybe 1 1/2 inches (perfect amount IMO). I'm not sure what the backspacing is on that Akuza OJ wheel- but that is what will mainly determine how much your wheel/tire will protrude.
