UPREV Help, Rom questions

I contacted UPREV today, they didn't flash my cable with Osiris before sending...so i'm recieving the "License to ECU" Osiris flash for my cable tomorrow via update key for my cable manager, had to email Hope at Uprev.

So everything is gonna work out just fine seein as Randy and I talked this evening and told me a lot of useful information.

I did some datalogging tonight, 3 runs


First run, 0-60 5.62 sec
Second run 0-60 5.34
Third run 0-60 5.44

( I can't wait till I get Drag Radials)

All three runs I pulled 305 GM/S,


64deg outside, Iats never got more than 71fdeg

coolant stayed at 181.4F under wot and most of the driving time, never went over 183f

AFRs and Timing etc... I will have to post a log of mine.


I've sent RB titan my logs so he can check them out. mainly my AFR, timing etc...

Well I cannot really comment just yet on how relentless did on my tune, but I will all let you know soon... lets just say my ROM from Relentless when randy looked at it, he emailed me immediately and told me to call him asap! not in a good way either...

Needless to say, i'm gungho about learning UPREV tuning

I would post a log on here, but i'm not really sure how since its all in Xccel format... do I need to do a print screen on cipher or something?

Overall, i'm stoked to finally get a ''real time'' tune (street)



Oh yeah, I raced Paparyno a while ago, from 50-120mph he only beat me by 1/2 of a truck... hes cammed, full bolts on etc... made me happy even if i got beat

Also, going to be unhooking that black MAF translator box that came with my Relentless 4in intake and clear learned fuel trims then do some datalogs to send to RB to see what the box is doing for sure.

Your MAF readings seem to be fairly low for the mods you have, but those are some nice times. With the True Trac on 305s are you able to hold 4.xx volts at WOT without the ECU pulling power from wheel spin?

I just ran another log, I pulled....wait for it.... 0-60 in 5.01sec, no wheel spin at launch, i just taped the gas some to get her moving then gouged it, pulled strong all the way to 5975rpm, 306 gm/s (which is fine for my mods) IATs 93deg F, Coolant temp was 181.6

the maf voltage was 4.58 all thru WOT, it felt great, however my AFRs need to be tweaked b/c she is EXTREMELY RICH!

Max timing was 35deg, CVTCS intake timing max was 29deg.

I would post my log, but I don't know how to put an xccell sheet on here, and Printscreen was taking up to much space...

So far so good, and this map I was running in did NOT have the line pressure mod in my torque table. However I do have a shift kit...

I'm pretty happy with the results, can't wait for the FT90 and JWT CS2 cams, should be fun!

Yeah I would love to get the Rom Editor or Tuner version on my cable, I just don't have the money to dish out on that right now.

ok guys. i'm pretty new to the software side of mods.
my main performance mods are stillen LT headers, 200 cell high flow catted b pipes, 2.5" true duals, flowmaster 40 series mufflers, and a k&n 77 series cold air intake.
I have purchased uprev, and am able to read code. btw i was able to delete the closed loop on bank 1 code, but it keeps coming back on bank 2.
I have downladed my ecu info.
can I take that ecu info as a base rom in the rom editor and start tweaking from there? Or do i need to send that file off and get a custom rom? Would a custom rom come with several maps?
is it possible to use some other kind titan owners rom to load into the editor before flashing.
maybe someone here has a similar setup with a rom that would work on my truck....
help appreciated in advance.

Did you buy it from Uprev directly? If so they will email you the roms you need. Also, you can only access the rom editor with the tuner version

Yes I bought it directly from uprev. I did buy the tuner version. so... i guess i'm gonna call uprev and see if they will email me the roms.

ok. so i got my rom from uprev. looks like are a lot of options on how to screw your motor up if you aren't careful. and I'm a little leery. I may be having uprev just build me a custom rom, $50 if i remember right.
also... in osirus, i can clear these error codes, but they keep coming back.
p1168 closed loop bank 2
and
p0051.ho2s heater control circuit low bank 2 sensor 1
does this sound like something that be programmed out, do i need to wire in the emulator, or is there a different possible issue that someone may know of.

Danblp is the answer, send him two 0-60 logs and your current ROM and go from there. Since you have tuner package you can go in and see what hes done IIRC if you feel the need to change anything down the road, however he is spot on with the tuning and pretty sure you won't need to change anything. Thats who i'm tuned by and never looked back.

Oh and Danblp can turn off some of those codes permanently that u are experiencing. You'll just have to tell him which ones u have, you won't need emulators for those particular codes that can be turned off. The closed loop code I'm not sure, but it seems like those are all affiliated with header and B-pipe swapping. So you should be good to go with his tuning. It will be a new animal.

Btw what year titan do u have? 04-06 or 2007 and newer?

I sent danblp a pm. waiting to hear back from him about tuning. my titan is an 07 4x4. I thought I had all my info in my signature, but i obviously hadn't done it right..... maybe it'll show up in this post.

You don't want to turn off the 1168 code...it's for the primary o2 on the bank 2...you probably broke it when installing headers. I broke mine, they are expensive to replace.!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wouldn't drive it too much till you get the 1168 code to go off with a new sensor.
