Re: JBA Long Tube Header PRE RELEASE GB only at AJUSA

Finally installed the Airaid CAI and throttle body spacer a couple nights ago, now just awaiting the JBA LT headers to get here any day now and the UQ resonator. I got to say Steve with AJUSA helped me a lot...I missed out on the promo because Chas was trying to get me better shipping prices to Canada before his move but oh well. The CAI was a tight fit once the throttle body spacer was on but it just fits and looks great. Hard to see a difference in performance right now but it sounds great and once I get the headers/b-pipes and uprev installed in the next couple months I'm sure I'll be loving it.

So plug the second sensor hole it the lt and move it to the catted b pipe and uprev wouldn't be needed? I have a programmer an hour away and could do a custom tune to delete the cat as currently I left the stock b pipe and cat in place and butted up the jba cat back and UQ near the spare tire

Uprev will be needed if your afrs are off, if you're flex fuel you may not need tuning, but definitely get your afrs checked or bad things can happen if you're running lean. Yes plug the second hole. Catted b pipes would give you an o2 bung after the cats, our stock b pipes do not have a bung after the secondary cats. So the catted b pipes become your primary cats with a sensor before and after the cat. If you can get it tuned so your ses doesn't come on AND you pass emissions that would be nice. Then just go with catless b pipes.

Still not a bad price considering what the competitions headers cost. I paid $610 for stainless stillens last year now they are $700+ for plain stainless no coating.

Re: JBA Long Tube Header PRE RELEASE GB only at AJUSA

Buy the longtubes...shorts you have to weld a cat on or an extension.

Re: JBA Long Tube Header PRE RELEASE GB only at AJUSA

Yeah LT are the way to go for sure...for me they are anyway. If you live somewhere that you need to pass emissions the shorties with cats welded on may be your best option. I finally got my headers and cajun b-pipes installed for about a week now, so with the JBA LT headers, cajuns and magnaflow cat-back its sounding much better then it did with those nasty cracked oem headers, but man is it ever loud so I'm still debating on whether to get the resonator or not yet. Most likely I will be getting the resonator though, next step for me is the uprev which I will be needing very soon.

Also I'd like to add me and my friend did the install without jacking up the engine, might of been easier to jack the engine but he wanted to try without doing that and it worked out fine....just some very tight spots to work with.

I will post a small sound clip on the exhaust thread of the beast tomorrow once I get the chance.

Why is Uprev the only solution?

Uprev is the only tune you can get for the T. A handheld cannot fix air/fuel ratios.

Re: JBA Long Tube Header PRE RELEASE GB only at AJUSA

Sounds like there could be a market out there for an alternative tuner option for the Titan.

Uprev is the only way to tune your AFR. You can monitor AFR w BDGT, but cannot alter it.
