Question Suspension Lift

I did a search and found some information on various lift kits available for the Titan but did not find any information on any Titan owners with a suspension lift kit installed on their Titans on this site. Are there any Titan owners with a suspension lift with some pictures that they would like to share? Any pluses, minuses, changes, suggestions, etc. on the suspension lift kit?

I'd like to prepare my pocket book!

I want to do something, too. I love the truck but would much prefer it to sit level rather than like a drag racer with the azz end up in the air.

Well the true suspension lift is very limited for the Titan... I think only CST and Bullet Proof are the only ones making them right now... and they are pretty pricey and the smallest is 8"... PrerunnerGreg has a nice setup listed on here... for just a leveling kit..

you check the gallery or suspension forums? look up dtek and gero for the cst 8" 2wd lift.

no one yet with the cst 7" 4wd lift or bullet proof 12" lift. BP lift pix can be found at www.socalsupertrucks.com .

The leveling kit seems like a body lift to me since it does nothing to improve the suspension travel. The CST lift looks nice but pricey, I guess it will be a few more years before other companies will begin marketing lift kits to the Titan owners once the Titans pick up more market share, then the price will be more competitive!

Next monday & tuesday 'm getting the CST 7" lift installed; I'll post pics asap. By the way, so as not to confuse, according to CST: 2wd = 8" lift; 4wd = 7" lift.

Currently there are 3 lift kits for the Titan. The CST 8" 2wd and 7" 4wd, the CST performance kit ,and the bulletproof 12" kit. The CST kit will not give more travel unless you use a coil-over or go with the performance kit ($4500 w/o coil-over or bypass shocks but dosent use a drop down bracket and is 4" wider per side). I have spoken with quite a few suspension manufacuters over the last couple months and no one will have anything out for a year or so (other than what is currently available). I have seen the CST and the bulletproof kits and they are all nice. Neither of the sub-frame kits is performance oriented though. I am working on adapting a King 2.5" coil-over, with a King coil spring, to the stock Titan suspension, it should yeild about 9-10 inches of travel. But Im not sure yet. The stock shock is really poor, but right now the only option is a rancho, fair at best. Im also looking at using a Fox 2.0 and adapting the stock spring by machining custom spring cups. It would be about 1/2 the cost of the King. The damping would be custom valved just for the Titan with either set-up and would offer alot more performance. A nice option would be if CST built a raised spindal upright but in the stock mounting length and to build 3" longer upper and lower a-arms, 12" of travel would certainly be possible.
