You sure can, I run catless with the JBA and its great. Catless Cajuns will enhance the stock system sound and performance well. Those secondary cats are the most restrictive part on the 08+ exhaust. No codes will be thrown either.
Just need to clarify... I have an 08 2wd so my b pipes are resonated, not catted, correct?

Nope yours are cats. 04-06 2wd are the only resonated bpipes in a titan.
Eh, that's a lose lose situation for me. If they were resonated, I wouldn't see much performance gains from getting a set at 2.25. Now that I know they are catted, I am screwed because of the visūsl inspection in Cali. I also have to pass the sniffer test

Well I can build them to pass the sniffer and resemble the oem pipes but not exact. The cats would not be carb approved.
So even cat'd b-pipe won't pass smog/visual in cali? I don't really know the smog laws, but if these pipes don't affect it I might be interested in the next few months.. otherwise, what are my options? :P

The cats I use are not carb approved. A lot of guys in Ca have bought these pipes though. If you have visual inspections you will have issues. Maybe someone will chime in from California.

Anything that is not an OEM part for the emissions system in California. Could you find a place that might not notice, probably. Would it still pass the sniffer test? I'm almost positive. Is it worth the risk of finding out? Not sure.
I'd do it right after your truck is due for smog, that way you have 2 years until you have to worry about it again

I am new to the B-pipes and looking for some more sound. I have a 4wd 06 with CAI and a MBRP exhaust. How do you think the b-pipes would sound with my setup? Will the pipes throw a CEL? I sent a message on FB as well. The pipes look awesome!

Thanks,

The sound will be louder but if you have the stock manifolds with primary cats in place probably not too bad. Should not have any cel's. Thanks for the compliment...

thanks for info, ill probably just wait it out then :/
Now nightowl could chime in here, but I'm guessing his b pipes take 30 minutes to install... I know guys would be willing to run LTH and switch them out before the smog, and reinstall after they pass. With stainless steel flanges and bolts, and removing the o2 sensor, I could see a swap be done a week before, drive the truck around to let the ecu get used to the stock pipes, an go pass your smog. Once your done, go home and throw on your Cajuns! No worries for 2 more years!
