syn oil =hp gains

I also use Mobil-1 in my Titon, but the service manager at Patterson Nissan in Longview, Texas, also told me not to use syn. oil. He also went as far as to say, that using syn. oil would void my warranty. I called the 1-800 number in the owner's manual and was told that using syn would not void the warranty but exceeding the reccomended mileage for the oil change would. I changed to syn oil anyway.
