K&N FIPK 77 Kit Installed

Well I finally got the K&N 77 Air Intake Kit and had it installed. Nice complement to my Magnaflow dual exhaust. Seems to have recovered the low end torque/throttle response that went away after putting in the muffler/exhaust.

Sounds great -- no noticeable sound unless you really gun it. No drone or excessive sound. Looks sweet too.

We have a friendly dealer (Jax Coggin at Avenues) and since the parts mngr and service mngr both have titans they were happy to use me as guinea pig ;-) I was more than happy to have the dealer do it for peace of mind. It didn't throw any codes etc and everything seems hunky-dunky. Now the dealer guys want 77s for their titans ;-)

They did not reset the computer, and said it would self calibrate after a few tanks. So I'm watching the mpg to see how it goes.

My Silver Titan LE is now complete

Magnaflow Dual Exhaust
K&N 77 Air Intake
#3 Earnhardt Trailer Hitch Cover
Alpine 7897 XM/MP3 system
MB Quart PCE 216 component speakers all around
JL 10" Sub in custom box under seat behind driver (looks factory)
Alpine MRV450 5 channel amp (behind rear seat w/amp)
Titan factory neoprene seat covers

Sounds like you have your Titan pretty well set up.
If you do get a chance to take those pictures of the K&N & Exhaust, I would also like to see your stereo install, specifically the sub and amp.
Thanks

That eye avatar freaks me out too... I want to poke it. Anyways, I am curious to see how long it does take your computer to recalibrate. Post again when you think it has finally done this.
