Unhappy Titan Step Rails

Has anyone found a reasonable price on step rails? I checked with a dealer this afternoon they wanted $540.00 installed, $400.00 for the parts and $140.00 for labor. These items have to be less expensive somewhere?

Step rails for King cab or Crew Cab?

KC rails are around $350 - $400. I didn't install them (already that way on the lot) but other threads say its very easy to do correctly (which isn't always the case at the dealership/wallet cleaners).

Got another thread on step rail

Step Rails Question

OEM step rails are extremely easy to do. You can do it in your sleep.

Call around to different dealers in your area, maybe you'll find a better price....

black step rails

I went to Alamo Auto supply and asked them if they had any available for the Titan and he said he had some of the Westin ones that would fit. When he told me the price I said I would just wait and he looked up another set from a company that was called Tech Tubes I think. I didn't sound that interested I guess so he offered to sell them to me for $154 + tax. They went on in under 30 minutes.

I purchased Westin Platinum Step Bars for mine that cost $429 with free S/H. They are expensive but of great quality. Search the web because there are so many different models out there.

Smoke SE 4x4 Crew Cab, KNN Drop in, BT, Utility Bed Package, Popular Package, Off Road Package, Bugscreen, In-Channel Ventvisors, Westin Platinum Step Bars, Billet Grille (Shipping from SocalMotors.com)

I wouldn't pay a cent to install them, as anyone who knows who to work a ratchet can install it easily.
