Just installed my newest exhaust on the Titan. I went with the Gibson Extreme Dual. Since I've beed driving i have put an exhaust on every vehicle that I've owned(Saab turbo, H/O 81 Stang W/289 running 405HP, Ram, Silverado, Sentra, Impala police car...for sale, and of course the Titan) I've put Flowmaster's, Edlebrock, and Gibson's on each of my trucks and there was not much difference with each. Different tones obviously, but nothing as far as intimidation or that straight up muscle sound. This is my first Extreme Dual, the rest were rear exit exhaust's, and this one is by far the meanest sounding exhaust that I've ever had. And for $385 to my door from cali, you couldn't beat it if you tried.

working on getting some pics, and if i had the first clue how to do a sound bite i definitely would. I have a 2WD XE CC, there was no problem what so ever with the install. Took a little bit as far as adjustment went to get it perfect while working on it in the parking lot of my appartment complex, but no trouble what so ever.
With today being the first day of real driving, the power was very noticible. Low end is even better than before, and it just keeps on coming. And with the growl too, its awesome. The tone is not overpowering, and at any reasonable speed, you barely notice any at all (55-80MPH)...but a buddy of mine noticed the sound as i went past him this morning, and he said that it was one mean sounding truck.

I ordered it through performance combos for $385 to the door. And it is just a bolt on package. I don't see a problem with any other package SE/LE, 2WD/4WD...they say that it works with all of them. oh' yea, the dorections that come with it are very easy to follow, and its not just general direction's. It actually has pics of a titan with the step by step install. Its a complete kit...Y-pipe back with 3-1/2 stainless slash cut tips.

i think that the extreme dual is the loudest gibson exhaust they have. is this correct? i dont like those loud systems. only loud when i get on it, otherwise sound like stock.
It's not really LOUD, its just a really mean sound. And as far as volume...When you get on it its awesome, but just cruising, its quieter than stock...i can barely hear any "drone", and even that isn't bad.
