Tight fit, how much more does the FT90 stick out over the stock TB
IDK? How much further it sticks out than the OEM TB?

I'll go get some measurements right now though!

I'll get distance from the LS7 TB to the CSF & from the MXP CAI Tube to the CSF.

Re: CSF radiator, need opinion

So here's what i just found out!

Its kinda hard to hold a camera, a tape measure & take accurate measurements at the same time. LOL

From '08 IM Flange - CSF Rad = 9 3/8"

From LS7 TB Flange - CSF Rad = 6 15/16"

From MXP CAI Tube - CSF Rad = 1" (EXACTLY)

My pics were at an angle.

I wonder why your fan hit the shroud? Was hit centered? The reason I cut the shroud was to close the gap between the shroud and CSF. I'll post so pic's when I get home.

Re: CSF radiator, need opinion

The crack in my radiator took a turn for the worse yesterday so I had to replace it. The job was pretty easy except it took me 5 hours. I guess I'm getting old. Don't see how you can do it without removing the fan. It made for a lot of room installing the wider CSF. I was able to trim the shroud and fit the fan back in before I installed the hoses. My Injen is laying up against the shroud but it doesn't seem to matter. I took a picture of the radiator that was disturbing and it wasn't the crack. It was the writing on the tank "Made in USA". I was hoping to see "Made in China" since the radiators crack so easily. Only 50% of this truck is made in North America. Figures that has to be one of the parts.
Hey Hector, sorry I couldn't wait but I do appreciate the offer to get together and help out.

IDK? Its hard to explain...but yea it all went back together fine. Its was centered & everything.

I even trimmed the tabs off the shroud with a hack saw. I thought that all i had to do?

...but i should have cut some more plastic off all the way around it.

No problems. I'm glad it went well. I'll be sure to pick your brain before I replace my radiator.

I had an issue with my csf 3328 last year when it arrived everything looked great. No damage and the install went fairly well. Of course once I filled it up and started the truck I found that one of the nuts that holds the internal tranny cooler had been over tightened or cross threaded at the mfg and it leaked coolant like a mf. AJUSA did take care of me but being in ga I was without my truck for almost a full week. They would not overnight the replacement one as they said that option wasn't available. That was a complete line of BS as when I contacted CSF directly they said they overnight them all the time. At that point I was at the mercy of AJUSA and just had to wait. AJUSA also informed me that my replacement rad was coming from their warehouse I believe it was in California but when I spoke to csf they said they had them in a warehouse on the east coast close to me. So in the end AJUSA said they were shipping it from their place and it fact was shipped from somewhere on the east coast per the shipping label. The new one was also in a completely different type of box. The reason it took a week to get it to me was that it was not shipped until 4 days after I was told it was going to be shipped.
Once the new one came in everything went smooth with the install except the junk rad cap that came with it leaked from the moment I started the truck. I called and complained again and they wanted me to swap the whole radiator out yet again. I of course said hell no and used the old one that I had bought at Nissan about a year prior. I still have the Nissan cap on there and everything has worked great.
In the end everything was more or less fine but I doubt I will do business with AJ again due to the shipping a replacement and the lack of care they seem to have for my issue. I realize that crap happens from time to time and it is what it is but it is the suppliers responsibility to take care of the customer and at least try to rectify the issue in a timely manor. If this was some other type of part that was not critical for drivability it wouldn't have mattered so much to me but the reality is that no matter what kind of part or accessory was purchased they should do everything that is reasonably possible to make it rite. It's not like I have to use my truck for work everyday, it's only a job requirement for me to have a full size pick up truck.

Yeah, my local driver is pretty fast... He usually drops the stuff in front of the door knocks twice and by the time I get out he is gone.

So I finally got the radiator (third one).
UPS guy came and picked up the damaged rad last friday. Supposedly they wanted to see the damage. Today I recieved my radiator and it looks ok. One of the siderails is bent a little but I'm not replacing this one. Will try to install it this weekend, if it's not too cold. LOL. My stock radiator may be on its way out. Or its just the clamps on transmission cooler hoses(hopefully). Had my bumper off for last few weeks since I resprayed it with bedliner, so it should be easier to get there.

I can't believe you got another damaged radiator. Granted the packing isn't the greatest but dam for real...
The pic doesn't look too bad just the fact it is bent like that. Anyway other than it being freak'in cold out it should go smooth for you. Make sure you remove the fan. Makes life a whole lot easier.

Yours looks worse since the dent pentrates two rows and eastend_titan just the first. Interesting how both have damage in almost the exact same spot.
