Obviously headers are my next agenda, however I practically have my 03 Dakota sold. I am torn between looks and handling and traction.
I am really considering replacing the stock springs with a McGaughys lowering spring kit. At the same time I am considering adding the Belltech front and rear swaybar setup. I'll also add some performance oriented struts/shocks all around. Finally I am thinking of adding Trutrac. I think driving the thing daily I will like the way it handles better more than the trutrac. What do you guys think? If I were strictly looking for better ETs it would be trutrac, exhaust, and drag radials on lightweight rims but driving over 20k a year in Dallas traffic on the highway I want to improve the handling and ride for my daily commute.

you dont need anything for looks on our trucks, they look good as is lol. but I would get some coilovers and rear shocks, some ICONS; and have them at the lowest setting so they dont lift the truck but make it ride better. But I would definitely do the sway bars, and you could probably add some traction bars too and that truck would stay planted to the ground

i was under the impression our trucks already had a front bar, we were just missing the rear sway bar.

If you go with the Belltech drop struts get some 4x4 coils or the ride is $hit, also the Belltech drop shocks do not last, I just changed out my second set.

MG kit was good but you cant do 45mph over railroad tracks or have 1" changes in pavement surface without bump stopping front. Even after removing bump stops in front the truck had a little more room but would still hit purdy good. Loads of 300lbs or more in bed were bump stop bump'n as well.
Took my MG rear leafs and added the short factory over load spring to it and loved it.
Also love my TRUTRAC and Hellwig rea sway bar. TT with ABLS is best of both worlds IMO.

Actually I put a mod on my truck that took 10 minutes to install and cost me $0.97 for the new o-ring. Thank you for the spacer to test. I hear a whistle with the windows open at very light throttle, but don't feel anything seat of pants, kinda like I expected. However I have bigger plans for this plate.

A TB spacer? Oh Lord. I do hope you plan to tap it for nitrous or something meaningful. Although, with the size shot you would probably run, it won't really do much benefit. Plate kit is still cool, though, and I hope that is where your going.

I see you know the drill. I have drill and a mess of NPT taps. A crappy Zex kit set to a 75 shot made 105 rwtq and 71 rwhp on a Mustang on another Titan. Combined with headers it should move on out.

Nice! Will make for fun. I'm anxious to see what it will do with you free flowing exhaust. Your exhaust will be good for the extra power. Headers and that should get you in the 12s
