Throw rocks for all I care, here is what is going on my Titan. I have a spare one around the house, gave up on getting Uprev to fix the damn throttle map, so this is how I am going to make my truck reach its 12.6:1 afr targets despite what I bolt on it. The only tuning I have on my heads/cam/header/intake 4.7 Dakota at the moment is a Split Second PSC1-003.
On the Titan the afr is actually not too bad on my latest runs. The timing, cam phase, throttle opening is all about perfectly optimized with Hypertech so why fight something that works and is already into the 13s at the track. It ran a richest reading of 11.6-11.8 @ 6,000 rpm and never leaner than 12.2:1 except during the 1-2 shift when it closed the throttle some it had a rich dip, followed by a slightly leaner 12.6 area when the throttle opened again. My long term fuel trims are about -6% so I know its a little rich. A slight reduction in MAP voltage should do the trick well. I also noticed that the stock exhaust piping with my 24" magnaflow reduced my gms/sec reading from a peak of 301 to only 289. No wonder I feel a high rpm power reduction with the stock 1.97" ID pipes. With the stock tail pipe section being around .080" wall thickness it is also only 2.34" ID where the muffler exits into the stock tail pipe. I bet I lost 15+ HP @ 6,000 rpm with the stock piping compared to even my crush bent 2.5 to single 3" system. I noticed gibson had a very nice 2.5 to single 3" setup on sale for around $350. My one hold back on that system is I really want to run single 3.5" after the Y but at the $350 price, mandrel bent ready to bolt on, its hard to resist.
Just FYI....I do not expect to gain much from this mod as I doubt that going from 11.8 to 12.6:1 afr is going to net more than 5-8 RWHP, but the ability to adjust the air/fuel ratio for the install of my headers and other mods is my goal.

hopefully you blow the engine and have to wander back over to the dodge forums
kaboom! lol

I've only had one tuning/fuel related failure and it was caused when a 3.4 v6 17 lb/hr injector got mixed into one cylinder in a TPI build running 24 lb/hr LT1 injectors at 50 psi. It was a dumb mistake but externally they were the same minus numbers stamped. The only thing I hurt in that motor was a piston. None of you would have caught the mistake either...Cylinder was still firing and it was not missing nor down on power. In fact I never even noticed the miss until I stopped 400 miles from home. I had a heavy trailer in tow. I pulled the injector lead off and drove it home pulling the trailer on 7.
Other than that I have spun a bearing in a 300k mile 305 and broken the stock cast crank in a 350 pushing its 200k mile crank too hard.
I have tuned plenty of engines and setups including forced induction and nitrous. I am here to stay and nothing is going Kaboom anytime soon except maybe a POS Jatco. Its almost outlived the pos 545rfe in my Ram though already.

I love how you joined TT to bash me. I guess you just feel the need to whip out your E-penis and try to show up.
I guess most fail to realize I have my sights set on 13.6 in full street trim before headers and cams go in. 13.4 with a 2,800 stall, 2.5 str converter prior to cams.

Sorry you should have left them in your mouth to choke on.....
I've been called many thing but never a narcissist. Learn something everyday. You are probably some social loner sitting in your parents basement driving a Yugo or Pinto or Metro singing I'm an oscar meyer weiner.
Lets get back to tuning a damn Titan shall we.

I am indifferent either watch and learn or acknowledge you don't know everything and lets see what I can make out of this mod. Every mod I do has made me quicker and faster. Like I said a long time ago an extra few ft/lbs here and there and the resulting additional hp all adds up. Just wait unti I have trutrac and drag radials and can cut a 1.8s 60' compared to my current 2.0. My 13.98 pass would have been a 13.78 or quicker on that run. My pcm has learned my first gear throttle voltage down to 2.95 which based off a 0.59 idle and 4.11 wot voltage is about 70% throttle through 30 mph. The more power I add the longer it pulls power and the more wheelspin the less voltage aka throttle I get.

Newsflash: You don't know everything, either. But you're the only one who doesn't know that.
I know that....However I do know until Uprev fixes their problem on the newer Titans that results in lack of throttle response, codes and limp mode that this is my only real tuning option. The PSC1 is a proven tuning option on many vehicles including other Nissans and my 4.7 Dakota not to mention numerous oth fast Hemi Rams, supercharged 5.9 dakotas and Toyotas. Its even used with some of the Hennessey Vipers. To think it will not make the minimal changes I need is ludicrous. All I can say when I get exhaust and the PSC1 installed and tweaked I will be needing a trutrac more than ever. After trutrac watch out this Titan will run 13.5 FST. Mark my words it will happen. I've never failed to run my guestimated number yet or better......
