Both are great tuners but most choose the bdgt for its monitoring features

Yeah just depends on what your looking for.. if you plan to go headers you'll need uprev but HT and BD are very popular too
I agree!!! If you upgrade to Long Tubes then i would do UPREV in a heartbeat! a customer tune on a dyno will gain your great results targeting your A/F ratio. Nightowl still uses a BDGT with Shorties and does great wonders for his truck.

Hypertech with a Split Second PSC1-003 works too. Having a newer truck that pukes on Uprev after spending $$$$ for its craptastic support is always fun.

Not only me but there are a few others that are flex fuel that did not need Uprev. I can also monitor transmission temps with my bdgt, can you uprev guys do that???? lol
I don't know about the other tuners, but The new BDGT I just installed a couple of weeks ago seem's to be pretty good. Today I put it to the real test (for me anyway) I drove up to our cabin which is at 4000 ft. It's a 75 mile drive one way. It begins at sea level. Now I have driven this truck up this 10% grade many many times in this Titan. Let me tell you, the power or torque going up was by far very noticable. My son even commented on the fact that the truck didn't have to down shift as much, and that he could feel a big differance. I was driving the beast and I am totally impressed.
My T has all the gauges but watching the monitor on the BDGT is very precise. I always watch the H20 and trans temps when loaded (the truck that is) LOL.
I didn't save any gas I don't think but I averaged 15 mph going up and down steep roads. My truck is stock so far except the BDGT. I do plan on the Airraid MXP, and probably a cat back system. I don't plan on header's or cams. Just a little extra power from these easy bolt on's.
I made a big mistake once building my dream 4x4, and it ended up being more of a race truck, and I didn't like being under the hood all the time adjusting the carb, header bolts, vac, and what not. As a retired Diesel/auto tech for 35 years I just like to keep it simple anymore. The T with these mild mods will do the trick.
