Leveling kit instructions

Here is a little instruction manual I put together for the PrerunnerGreg leveling kit. It has pictures of my install to go along with it. You gotta have acrobat viewer. If you don't have it then just go download it...it's free. If this is a big problem then I can post it as a word document.

Does this void the warranty at all? I bought the extended warranty and would hate to void it. Great instructions!!!

I think I know the answer to that question but I've been wondering the same thing myself.

Never mind. I found it in a friends service manual, on page FSU-5. 58 ft-lb on the ball joint nut and 99 ft-lb on the lower shock bolt. It also has all the alignment specs on FSU-19.

I just installed my kit and all i can say is... I wish i would have found Clash4x4'S PDF before the trip to the parts store for a spring compressor...

the most important line in his PDF is..

NOW YOU NEED TO ROTATE THE STRUT 180 DEGREES FROM STOCK ...

knowing that beforehand would have saved me about an hour,
and a trip to the parts store ... and a trip tomorrow to return the spring compressor..

Thank you Clash4x4..... excellent PDF...

Can anyone recommend a GOOD shock replacement for light off-road use? I have the Crown brake lines sitting in the garage, will get the spacers, thought it would be a good thing to get better shocks and do it all at once. Make a Saturday out of it, ya know...
Found some nice Bilsteins, but they have a piggy-back resorvoir that won't fit inside the coil spring. Maybe something with a remote resorvoir and some adjustability? Multi-rate springs are an option though that's probably more $$ than I want to spend at this time.
