Got the bully dog in yesterday, cussed a lot running the wire to the fuse box, but with the WOT gone, performance tune and +2 timing advance you can color me impressed. I've only driven it down the street and back and then to work this morning, but giving it way more gas than I normally do, I'm still at the same mpg, so I think I'll get a boost when the fun of just punching it dies down a bit. Big shout out to Mike, I appreciate the coozy and t-shirt, the little extras go a long way and when the wife breaks down on the budget again, you'll be getting some more business

The CAI should be going in this weekend, weather permitting and I'll post my impressions of it.

I installed mine yesterday and absolutely love it!! What is the difference in tuning the timing to +2?? Also is there a difference in performance tuning and fuel saving? However I agree the wot is amazing!

If you use the preformance or extreme tunes you have to use 91 octane or better. Or you risj doing damage to the engine. You get increased gains with preformance. Better throttle response with 2* advance and better of the line.

Your not going to see much if any mpg change. I have a stock vs. bdgt dyno video on my visitor page just click on nightowl to get to it. I was quite impressed with the numbers from that tuner.

Will I get more gain than my setup now? I have +2 timing fuel saver tune with 91octane in it now

87 tune, wot off, Performance throttle and +2*. The extreme throttle is way too sensitive for me.

I find that I get the best gains with the preformance tune, economy throttle, and +2* advance. I also use the driving coach and have gotten better fuel economy as well. It is more noticeable on the highway. I am getting about 15+ on the highway. I get about 13 to 14 in the city. If I am towing I change the throttle to preformance and I have gotten 8.5 to 9.5 mpg from 7 to 8.8 mpg. I get better fuel economy with preformance tune and increased gains. However 91 octane is over $4 a gal in the Northeast, so I am running the regular tune now. With WOT off I get less fuel economy. So I leave the restriction on.

Definitely use the coach. It is a bit annoying in traffic and with NY drivers stopping short in front of me! But it does work. When I had WOT off my mpg was like 9. If you are going to tow, I would use the preformance tune. According to Bully Dog, you get the most gains with this tune. In the end it is what ever suits you and what you use it for.
