I don't think it's worth it. I've heard from numerous people on teh Frontier boards that they made no change at all. Seems like a gimmick to me, but that's just my opinion.
Acutally if you look at AEM's site for the "Brute Force" intake they state that they provide you with a throttle body spacer "if and only if" it helps performance. So I guess its a wait and see if they include it in the Titan CAI kit. So obiviously, if AEM offers it with some kits it must show gains on some vehicles.
I was figuring by adding the spacer you increase the volume of air going through the intake which is then made available to the engine or does that only apply to carburated motors?

The spacer will change the resonant frequency of the intake pipe. My guess is that it just moves power to a different rpm. I doubt it even makes a noticble difference unless the stock config. left something to be desired.

Exactly, thats why I had said that AEM includes them with some intakes and not with others. It would be nice if they do include it that means they found more power hehe.
