install hitch BEFORE dual exhaust...

I figured this might be a problem when i got my exhaust done, but didn't figure i'd be towing that much, and if i did, it would be off the bumper.

then i realized i have a truck, and will probably do some towing. so, i bought a hitch.

when my exhaust was made, it was centered between the middle of the truck and the outer edge of the bumper (looked best). however, that puts my tail pipes 4 inches directly below the hitch mount, and the hitch needs 5.5" to mount.

long story short, i'm going to have to take my truck back to the exhaust shop for the 3RD TIME!!!!!

does anyone with stock hitch have dual exhaust straight out the back and a picture they can show me?

i'm worried it might look dumb if it push them further out to the sides of the truck. i dont want to drop them lower below the bumper (already 0.75" below, which looks perfect).

I don't have the Nissan hitch, but it's the same width as it uses the same mounts, but mine curves back under the truck. I had the installer mount the exhaust right up next to the left and right side of the hitch, it provided a good guide.

yeah, i debated putting it outside the mounts, but still wasn't sure if that would be enough.

i've gotta start rushing through things. take things one step at a time. i'm too impatient with cars and mods.
