Borla Dual Exhaust Cat Back System

Thinking of installing the Borla dual cat-back system on my Titan. Has any one utilized this system? If so, what is your opinion? Thanks for the input.

Dammit I just got off the phone with Borla and they indeed DO have a dual catback system for the Titan. It's been out a coulple months now. It's not on their web site yet though. I had a time getting through to them so I went with the only other dual system that I knew of at the time, the Gibson.

Yes Borla is pricey allthough I personally prefer Borla and I really like the quality and sound. Some would say it's just way to overpriced as everyone is entitled to their opinion.

Well anyway the part # is 140079 and retails for $904.00. Borla said it dynoed an extra 12hp and 8 torque. Borla also said it wasn't a very loud system but did sound pretty throaty when you open er up...BTW the Gibson just isn't loud enough for me so I'm gonna have the 3" resonater pipe after the Y before the muffler replaced with just a 3" straight pipe...

Anytime, I'll update on the difference on the Gibson as soon as I have it modified.

From what Borla said about their system not being that loud maybe removing the resonater(provided it comes with one.I didn't ask) on that system will wake it up as well...

FYI on the Borla cat-back...it is similar to the Magnaflow cat-back in that it installs AFTER the factory Y-pipe (according to a Borla rep I just spoke with over the phone). There is no replacement of the Y-pipe as seen in the Banks system, which sells as half the price.

Its a personal thing, But I wouldnt use BORLA anything, EVER again!!!!!! My best friend and I Drag race with the NHRA, In March of this year, We WON the Gatornationals (super comp) class!!!!! We use BORLA MUFFLERS on the race truck(pro stock truck replica) BORLA has REFUSED to pay the contingency money that they owe us, After MANY attemps to collect OUR money, they wont even take our calls!!!!!!!! So, I would have to ask, why do business with someone that dosent PAY THEIR BILLS?. So, will they stand behind their PRODUCT??????? Thanks for letting ME VENT!!!!!!

DAMM drags,

First and foremost I want to congradulate yall's winning of the Gatornationals (super comp) class. I only wish I knew the feeling.

Second off I can't even fathom as much money as Borla charges(overcharges) for their products they are doing you guys like that. Ya know I couldn't even get in touch w/ somebody to check on and BUY one of their products so I could only imagine the trouble your going through to get a hold of em...You just took the edge off my regret that I didn't get Borla... Borla
Hope they pay W/ INTEREST.

You Borla
