Would you please post pictures of the Air-raid installed? Thanks. They use their own filter oil, correct? Has anyone seen any issues like with the K & N?

Nevermind, I found one. It uses the stock intake tube to the TB's, just removes the box and uses the trunk to seal the top? Sorry, those are all questions.

...I like it better than K&N because each of the three Airaid kits I've owned have not had excessive amounts of oil on the filter like past K&N kits. I have no idea what K&N quality is like today though. Could very well be better than what I remember.
Th bottom half is actually the stock air box so it will likely hold up better than any other aftermarket intake maybe with the exception of the Volant.

I thought of using an old JWT intake filter I had. I could use an MAF adapter and flip it around and attach the stock pipe to the adapter plate and screw on the JWT intake to it. You could easily make a plastic or sheet stainless steel surround for the filter.

I think the surface area for that filter is less than the stock one. I know the stock filter is very restrictive but I have the K&N filter in place. How can that get more performance?

Looks like the front of that box isnt sealed and will suck hot air from the engine bay.
$200 seems very steep if this uses your stock intake tube and bottom of the stock air box.

Actually conical filters will WAYYY out perform our stock filter. Did you see the pics of the dirty stock filter, where all the air seems to go through about a quarter sized area right next to the snorkel tube inlet?
This conical looks to be of standard size, very comparable to K&N and Volant's filters. Should be more than sufficient for naturally aspirated motors.
