Talking Installed Banks yeasterday

So far I have to say I am truly impressed with the sound, noticeable performance increase, and ease of installation. Everything was real easy and straightforward, installed in 15 minutes with air tools and on a lift. The only thing I am kind of concerned about is the amount of tennis balls I am going to have to buy to shoot out of the tip. It is quite large!

is it obnoxiuosly loud or just nice sounding loud? I want to get the banks but am afraid it will be too loud. Do small children run for their mothers crying when you go by?

Not that loud at all, actually I expected it to be louder. Sounds real good at WOT, and real mellow during normal driving conditions. I mean you know you have that it is not stock, nice deep tone.

Congrats with the install. I love mine. I was on my way to the beer store yesterday and had a couple of guys stop me to say they loved the tone that it puts out. Next thing to do... Put the volant CAI on ... You'll like it! Then level it and then ...... ( I think I need help)

The Banks by itself doesn't drone inside the cabin hardly at all. I had alot of drone when I added the Volant intake though. It seems like the construction of the truck is so sturdy and tight that any minor vibrations on the frame can be felt throughout, and sound just behind/under the cabin really echos inside.
That being said, the Banks is surprisingly quiet on long distance cruises. When you are on the freeway, it is barely noticable. If you drop the gas pedal to pass, you will of course get a lot more noise though, but that's by choice.
