Need new exhaust question

Like the stock sound, just want to bring it to another level:

not redneck loud, but a little throattier, no droning in the cab, no backfires or popping either, but want some HP gains.

Whats the best solutions?

I have read the forum, the exhusts are all over the place..........

thanks

This configuration works for me:
FloPro dual in-dual out muffler (same size as Flowmaster Series 70 Big Block), custom pipes from resonator flanges on back, 2 1/2" pipes all the way, replace stock y-pipe, and two bullet-type resonators ahead of the Flo-Pro. Very civilized. Only downer is some resonance at 1700rpm, but it's not bad. Pics are posted elsewhere on this forum.
My wife even said sounds 'pretty good'. She did not like the original FM S70 with X-pipe, too loud, she said.

probably jba is the best bolt on in that it is a real cat back. the others you would have to add pipe to get a real cat back and the people who have done so notice a serious horsepower increase as measure by dyno and at the track. juma

Juma, I've been looking at various forums to see which exhaust to go with. I've noticed conflicting information. Which exhaust offers the most hp & torque?
