Until someone cracks the ECU coding, there is no point in having forced induction available if you cant tune for it.

I read somewhere Vortech was working on one for us...

I saw on the show "Trucks" this past weekend 10/31 w/ that Stacy dude(had Gail Banks their) that Banks has a twin turbo that just came out for the small block chevy that makes over 600HP without engine mods and over a 1000HP with engine mods. Banks claims no turbo lag either. The more time that goes by the more I like turbo's...especially twin turbo's. Maybe we'll have that option one day soon...

Isn't that what piggyback system's are for? If I remember correctly, the 350z uses a piggyback for the TT's and SC's.

Slurppie, I still dont see how a "piggy back" unit can tune for various mods, elevation, etc. Not everyone is gonna run the exact same setup. There needs to be some adjustability in the tuning to make sure everyone can benefit.

The "piggybacks" he's referring to are fully adjustable (ie. Greddy emanage, split second esc1, etc). The main issue is the obdii learning that the ecu has the ability to do. The best bet would be a piggybacked standalone such as the electromotive tec3 or the new haltech e11. Both of which will work fine on the titan. Both of these have been used in a similar fashion on lexus is300's and they have a much more complicated ecu. If any of you guys are serious about it, and have the money, peter farrell supercars can undoubtly do either a turbo or supercharger for you.

I am with you Finn, why get a supercharger when you can get a turbo that will produce more power at the same psi levels. Seems to be plenty of room under the hood for all the plumbing.

Good luck! You will get better as you become more accustomed to the track. It just takes practice.

That isnt my car in my avatar, it is a '69 Camaro. Someday...
