Coil-overs finally mounted

Its taken some time but I finally got my 2.5" coil-overs mounted late last night. I used an aftermarket (donahoe racing/ sway-a-way) tundra replacement. Although it works, the shock body is too long. I will be machining the body and redesigning the upper mount to get the full amount of travel that I can from this truck. But it is drivable now and the ride is so much better, i think i actually got some air last night on my test drive, woo hoo. The front actually got quiet, no funny little noises any more. And the ride seems 10x more controllable. For instance, my driveway has a tall curb that has to be driven over at an angle, the stock shocks would make the truck rock back and forth through a couple oscillations (and yes the shocks were good) but now its just rock soild, like the truck stepped up (or down) the curb. The spring rate Im using is 650 lbs/in x 13" long.I may go with a 12" coil though. Im writing this just to keep people informed on different suspension stuff and tring new things. I should have some pics up by this weekend.

I'm thinking these should fit with the CST 7". You may have a new customer. Keep us posted

Im pretty sure cst has the adaptor and all the info to mount a 2.5 c/o with thier kit already. Since you have an extra 4" between the shock pivot points now, I think they just use an 8" shock.

the shock body is too long.
Will the shock bottom on full compression? What length are your C/Os?
