I have called a lot of people, and no one has or knows anyone who has a mendrel bender. Any thoughts? The only reason I don't want to get the store bought systems is because I want a side or angle exit, not staight out the back.
HELP!

Mo, have you read all of the thread that Sammy started? I don't think
the mandrel bends are that big of a deal. You should be able to get a
very nice job done for under $400 bucks.
For some reason I thought it was mandrel bent. I just don't want them looking like that one post who got it done at a chain muffler shop. It looked like an accordian.

Yeah, you don't want any of that flexible crap. Find a mom and pop type
place that has been around a long time, and ask them if they will look at
pictures that you have printed off the thread. I passed one shop up after
they weren't interested in what I wanted. If you show them exactly what
you want ahead of time, you'll be better off.
Thanks for the info about the Gibson. I am pretty sold on the sammysandbag system though.
Thanks pagerdaddy, I am ready to go pics in hand.

Well, no exhaust system for me for a while. Wife's car needed repair work. I thought Toyotas were supposed to be reliable? It is a 98 carolla and ever since the warrenty was up I replaced the damn engine and now the flex sheild on the transmisson has hair line cracks in it. Oh well, I guess God doesn't want me to get an exhaust. WHY GOD, WHY!?!
