What Intake/exhaust To Buy?

HELLO EVERYONE! I JUST PURCHASED AN 05' TITAN CC 4X4 LOADED. I HAVE WATCHED OVER THE PAST YEAR MOST OF THE TITAN FORUMS BUT STILL AM UNSURE OF WHICH IS THE "BEST" EXHAUST AND INTAKE. I CONSIDER EASE OF INSTALLATION, LOOK, PERFORMANCE AND SOUND TO BE KEY FACTORS. OBNOXIOUSNESS AND DRONE ARE A BIG CONCERN! I KNOW THIS HAS BEEN BEAT TO DEATH BUT A POLL WOULD BE HELPFUL FOR US NEW FELLOWS SINCE MOST HAVE HAD THEM ON FOR ALMOST A YEAR AND CAN GIVE "QUALIFIED OPPINIONS." THANKS IN ADVANCE!! I'll be using the JBA exhaust and the AEM Brute Force intake.

You might want to add none of the above. I run flowtech as a custom install and I know there are a bunch of flowmaster members as well.

I have the banks kit, took about an hour to install. It is a little loud, but not loud enough to make babies cry. Over all fit and finish is fantastic on the banks kit. Easiest install I have ever done.

Banks here too. While 95steel is right that it doesn't make babies cry, it DOES make dogs growl, men pout, and the women wonder. I love it, but then, this is my first V-8 and my first real mod, for I am just a simple caveman.

I have the magnaflow catback exaust with Airraid intake combination. I have heard the Banks before and the sound is similar in my opinion I can't really say about the Hp/Trq difference. My set-up sounds great about 80% of the time the other 20% when my wifee is in the truck it's a little to loud

we put the volant intake on. it suprised me with the sound. people told me it was going to be loud but it only picks up at 3k rpm untill then it sounds like the stock engine. i was thinking of going with gibson for the exaust but Stillen just made one that i am considering now. i have been doing alot of reasearch since i have been trying to get this truck sponsered but the gibson so far was the cheapest and felt it had the best buy, untill ofcourse i went to Stillen the other day and saw their new creations for the Titan. I think i will go with stillen since they have been making great products for nissan over the past 18 years.

Girlfriend ownes SE kc 4x4 with off road utility and tw2 with 7" cst lift and a volant intake as of right now. i do work at a Nissan dealer in irvine california and know a great deal about this truck since i talk to owners all day long and sell the truck a couple times a month.

I just put that volant intake on this truck before i went to glamis last weekend. it sounds great but the cool thing is if you dont want the lound noise this is perfect if you drive melow you can hardly hear it untill you really step on it. Stillen just came out with their exaust which i am considering since they have been specializing in nissan performance parts for the past 18 years. but gibson sounds like my 2nd coice it the specs on the Stillen one dont match up. taking price and power into consideration

Currently have installed: K&N FIPK AirCharger (Part#63-1088) and Gibson Cat-Back Dual Split Rear Exhaust (Stainless) Part#68200. Intake mainly quiet, don't really hear the snarl till about 3000 RPMs. Exhaust has a deep growl initially, then a soothing rumble. Satisfied with both mods. A+ Till next time... Brian
