Stillen Exhaust?

Has anybody else seen this?

http://www.stillen.com/supertrucks_detail.asp?id=55944

I called them and they said it was a cat back system with all stainless 3 inch pipe. If I wasn't so damn hung up on having a dual exit set up, I might consider this.

Don't know about this system but the system for the 3.5 Altima was made by Ractive for Stillen.

They are working on a few different systems right now. They took messurments of this truck last week to design around the tow hitch. but its a nice system i went there monday and saw one sitting on the conference room table. but yeah they are make a dual tip system right now so you might want to hold out a little bit.

Hidey Ho TOE's (That's Titan Owners Everywhere:-) hehe...

Just an FYI (not tryin to dis ya slurpster) Stillen exhausts (for cars and trucks) are made at Millen's off site facility (SMR, Inc. - Steve Millen Racing) SMR is about a half mile from our main Costa Mesa/John Wayne Airport location. They have all the serious CAD mandrel benders, hi-tech plasma cutters, etc. I wish it was on site. I love that stuff! There just wasn't room for his vision on site

Actually, a number of companies contract with Steve for manufacturing of exhausts, headers, and other items...for instance.....I wonder who makes a lot of TRD's stuff???:-))) I think those racing concussions made him sharper!

As "Lifted" mentioned - there's a lot of testing going on with a number of Titan goodies right now. It's easy to make parts that just fit, but Steve's a fanatic about dyno testing tons of configurations. I couldn't believe the dyno hours logged with the 350Z exhaust R&D - months! (my daily parking spot is next to the dyno btw) There must be nearly 50 exhausts out now for that car....none are close to the HP/Torque #'s that I (or the mags to date) have seen. I see similar attention to the Titan so far. Millen's not done racing.....There's that vision again:-)

Sorry to ramble on TOE's! Maybe next time we'll talk about superchargers? - doh! I didn't say that - did I?

Cheers,

-Adam

If you didnt know already but Stillen has been making Nissan parts for that past 18 years. He started on trucks then moved out and he has always focused most on Nissan. Thats his main priority and his son just purchased a 05 Titan from me and look for that one in there gallery soon, it will be there new show truck.

Oh it's on now Adam! J/K buddy. No seriously I'm glad you spoke up. I was "educated" by a vendor of Stillen's so I thought I would add my $.02 but now it's looking like $.00 Thanks for showing up and providing info and making me look like a dumba$$ again.

New Guy here...with alot of stupid questions, I'll bet. Saw this post and it inspired me to register. Have an '03 Dodge Ram Hemi 1500 sc/sb (I know ..) with a Gibson Super Truck exhaust. I like the sound, design, and construction of this system, but they don't make one for the Titan. Can't find anything on the actual muffler construction of the Stillan, but am very intrigued. Does anybody know, and I'm sure they do, if it's a straight through design? Does it use packing or baffles and chambers or what?

Looking forward to knowing ya'll...but right now, I just wanna' know...

Welcome Majaon1 and no need to frown on your truck bro - nothing wrong with Dodge IMO. As for the construction of the Stillen mufflers I can only speak about those that are made for the Altima which from what I've seen uses a straight through design with packing and no louvers to cause turbulence. I would assume that the same holds true for their other systems.

Two strong trucks! Awesome.

Most Dodge guys have no clue and come on here to tell us how our "Jap" trucks are taking US jobs and such. Good to see you had an open mind and could give a positive image to at least one Hemi driver. Heck, if i were in the market for a 3/4 ton, it would be a cummins.

Ok back on topic now.
