You've built your mod list up to be pretty impressive now. The force is strong in this one. 14's for you too, huh.

Well, I got my first run on a track last night and here are the numbers...

4 runs about 68 degrees apx 50' alt

R/T .663 .690 .911 .757
60' 2.783 2.401 2.512 2.662
330 7.444 6.730 6.832 6.934
1/8 11.056 10.278 10.378 10.435
MPH 68.28 69.01 69.01 69.84
1000 14.172 13.365 13.475 13.490
1/4 16.785 15.962 16.085 16.063
MPH 85.96 86.43 85.88 87.23

My truck had a stock no mods A/F of around 10.5, and we the best we have gotten with mods is about 11.5. I'm guessing that is why my truck is so much slower that the rest of you. Looks like the Black Box Tuner will be my next mod. I did have 1/4 tank gas (87) and spare and tailgate still on the truck (no where to leave em at the track). Next time i'll take it all off and see what happens.

Re: Consolidation of mods, dynos, and track times

Add to your DYNO consolidation

decypher44
2004 Titan KC SE
Magnaflow Exhaust
AEM Intake w/dryflow filter
HP 299.35
Tq 331.59

This was done on 11/12/05 at Stillen during their Titan Day.

I'll try and post a scan of my dyno run sometime this week. Thanks.

UPDATE - Scan of dyno now attached. Hard to believe just the Magnaflow and the AEM helped this much. Accuracy should be good as other trucks run that day were around 260-285. Felt damn good with these numbers. Even the Stillen guys were impressed.

PS - Photoshopping ONLY to take out my last name and clean up a little water spilled on lower left corner. All numbers legit.

Volant G2 vs Stock airbox

All right fellas during my Unichip testing since I booked some hours on a dyno I decided to also test the Volant CAI vs the Stock box with Banks exhaust.

I did this on the same dyno the same day one after the other. Here are the results. I did not do and ECU reset between. I did a complete uninstall and install between runs. Run 10 is voided as we had interference

In short the good news is that the volant out performs stock.

Re: Consolidation of mods, dynos, and track times

Got my baseline dyno done this morning.

Best pull was the 3rd.

FlimFlamMan
'05 CC XE 4x2 (no B/T or O/R)
Air box mod with stock paper filter
264hp and 327tq

That means approx 316hp at the wheel? Not to shabby.

A/F varied from 12 to 12.5 (they commented on it being pretty flat. dunno what the hell that means... lol)

The dyno also used SAE correction.

I'll post the sheet on monday. Dont have a scanner at the house.

Next week I'm gonna get it done again with the Injen intake installed.

Re: Consolidation of mods, dynos, and track times

I forgot to mention something I thought was interesting.

There was one person in line before me at the dyno shop today.

It was a F250 crew cab with a 6.0 turbo powerstroke diesel.

Its best pull was 244 rwhp and 364 rwtq.

Just seemed kinda low to me. Figured those things had more umph than that.
