CaptFDU, I would recommend you try a different dyno shop with a wideband O2 sensor just to make sure your first dyno shop didnt have a bad O2 equipment.

Ran my Titan bone stock, CC SE 4x4 Off rd. pkg, BT pkg, bed pkg spare and tail gate in place as well as 2 car seats.
Best run: 15.45@88.71mph

Other vehicle on slip is an 04 dodge ram 1500 hemi QC 4x4, also its best run of the night. When comparing apples to apples its not even close!

Would be cool to see a similar sheet showing improved fuel economy with the mods that produced them.

My first post ever...I just have one question as of now regarding the throttle body spacer. I wanted to know if it makes a difference in performance and gas mileage??? There is an eBayer that has a few for sale, one of the models is called "AutoXtreme Throttle Body Spacer" for $65.00. the next model is called "Helix Power Tower" for $82.00 and the last model is called "Airaid PowerAid Throttle Body Spacer" for $107.00. Any feedback from these items will be greatly appreciated!!

Stock Exhaust Intake MOD: Unichip

Ok guys here's my dyno in 100F temps using Unichip. SAE corrected. I ran in 3rd gear and had premium fuel and aggressive switch selected (MAP A).

All stock. Only adds are Fram Air Hog and Mobil synthetic.

In a few weeks I'll have a stock dyno run and will be able to compare to unichip runs. I also hope to have the chip tuned for the truck in this time frame too.

For help Uni-tuning can those that have their Air/Fuel runs send them to me by email/fax or post.

Can't wait for 1/4 track run either!

Thanks
Randy

I've got a new best time weighed 5333lbs at time of run. Still box stock w/22K miles, guess I need to change the original air filter. 15.42@88.79mph. Finally traped at 89 on my last run but only a 15.47-poor 60ft(2.371). 15.3@89 with a stock full weight CC 4x4 coming soon!

I just got back from a dyno day session. Due to the overall diameter (3/4") being shorter and each wheel weighing 25lbs more than factory, they estimated I was losing anywhere from 10-20hp. I was going to dyno with the stock wheels, but I figured I don't roll with them so never mind. No big deal. Anyways, here's the printout of the dyno run.

you milage is WAY to low to be on a dyno imo. get it dynoed again at least around 2,000 miles. should be at the same place. I'm betting it won't be that rich. just my guess...

I just made the sig. Sunday...

Actually its a Mr. Grille Billet lay over. Each piece is held on by 4 zip ties...

Thanks for the compliments, when you change your sig, it goes back and changes all of your sig's on all of your posts ever. I had just washed and waxed with meguire's products, and I thought well what the heck, I'll snap some clean pics's. I had yet to apply the tire wet though...

New member here. Put my '05 KC LE on the rollers Saturday...264hp/335tq. Bone stock with 87 in the tank. Maybe a few gallons of 93 were left in there with it. Needless to say, I was very pleased with the stock #'s. I was only expecting 250hp and 300ish tq. Time for some exhaust work!

Strapped her up to the dyno again today. This was my third trip since buying the truck almost a year ago. Thought you all might like to see the progression from almost stock (KN w/ airbox mod) to where I'm at now.

Note that on the last scan, I did a before/after ecu reset so you can see that there is some gains from doing this. I had just done a reset after installing the AFE a few days ago, and have been doing a lot of data logging with my foot into the pedal. So, the little bit of learning the ecu had done, prior to the reset I did tonight, was pretty aggressive...thus a smaller gain...if that makes any sense! The reset gave me my best dyno numbers so far, and this was on my 4th run tonight when the motor was the very heat soaked.

I also logged a bunch of data with my scan tool for all of the runs to send to Ron at ProAuto for the "black box" he'll be flashing for me ( I hope!).

I'm pretty happy with my results at this point, although I can't seem to get my torque above 333 no matter what I do.

Of note--All dynos were performed at the same shop/dyno/operator.

Here's the progression:

*Baseline* Dyno session #1:

Mods: K&N panel filter, airbox mod
HP: 253
TQ: 304

Dyno session #2:

Mods: K&N panel filter, airbox mod
AeroTurbine custom exhaust
HP: 260 (gain of 7)
TQ: 331 (gain of 27)

Dyno session #3:
Mods: AFE Stage II Intake, Airaid TBS, TB Coolant Bypass,
FM cat-back w/ Borla XS Muff, Rear cats deleted
HP: 281 (gain of 21)
TQ: 331 (no gain)

*After ecu reset:
HP: 285 (gain of 4)
TQ: 333 (gain of 2)

Total gains since initial baseline dyno:
HP: 32
TQ: 29

Not bad for a few bolt-ons!

Thanks!
