Help. Lost Mileage with volant and exhaust

I know not another mileage thread, but just curious if anyone else lost mileage after exhaust and volant. I have a CC 4X4 with Big Tow with 5,200 miles on it. I put the volant on first and was getting 14.23 mostly city stop and go driving. I put the JBA cat back system on and now I get 13.23. Anyone have any idea why. I did not reset the computer overnite. Any thoughts on this. Also, the JBA system I have replaced my rear cats with resonators. Maybe a problem?

At first maybe, but I have put about 1,000 miles on it since the change and I keep trying to drive the same as before to get same milage results.

Doesnt your check engine light stay on? The jba kit is only for the trucks with resonators if you have 4 cats you have to make custom pipes from the cats to the jba y pipe.

I tried to warn everybody about the JBA exhaust. It uses louvered core resonators and mufflers that probabaly flow worse then stock.

My truck runs great. No check engine light. Do you think that changing to straight pipe and changing the muffler will help?

What exhaust do ya'll recomend? I just got a new Titan and i'm ready to start upgrading. I'm looking at either a KN or volant intake, and i'm curious which exhaust will sound and perform better?

If you are taking those mileage measurements since November, then they could be off by 1-2 mpg if you are using oxygenated fuel (lowers emissions). Since our pumps (in NM) have switched on 1 Nov, I have lost a consistent 1.6 mpg and an now down to 12mpg until Feb when they go back to regular gas.

Well now I am really fed up with my truck as when i removed the rear cats and installed the jba's my light kept coming on. So i had to run new pipe from the cats to y of jba. That is what jba told me to do, the guy said nissan had originally told them that all titans had resonators. Which is what the truck had that they did there system on. I actually like the exhaust better then the flowmasters or dynomax i have already tried on the truck. It pulls up hills better and seems to pull trailers easier.

Mine had the EXACT opposite effect. The first tank or two, I was putting my foot through the floor to hear the intake/exhaust, but after that, the milage was MUCH better.

Maybe its the crappy Christmas gas we get like GETSOMZ28 said. Try resetting the computer and get some fuel that hasn't changed for the season (where?)?
