EBC 6000 Brake Pads

I saw these on Tire Rack and wondered if anyone has any experience with them or used them?

From the WebSite:
"The EBC 6000 Series Extra Duty disc brake pads have a higher initial brake effect than most aftermarket pads to provide improved pedal response. Their non-metallic brake material does not contain steel fibers or carbon particles that we have found normally leaves dust deposited on the vehicle’s wheels. These extremely low dust disc brake pads provide up to an 80% reduction in the brake dust generated on most modern 4x4s, pickup trucks and SUVs."""

Thougts?

Here is a post (#6) that talks about the pads from Tire Rack, not sure if they are the same:
brake dust

Here's another mention... (Post #29)

Question on brake problems!

Doesn't sound all that positive.. Have you seen the new Carbotech's that Greg V from through Mossy Performance (a sponsor) is selling?

There is a full write up on the results with a good towing story on http://nissanperformancemag.com/december04/titan/

There are Rumors of TSB that is going to replace Calipers, Rotors and pads soon, I would love to have the carbo pads, but I think I am going to wait for TSB becuase I do not even know if these pads would work with new Calipers and Rotors? I see all these people buying new pads and rotors and am curious to why? Just wondering if you know something I don't...will the pads fit?

Pads fit GREAT on stock calipers now, looks like...
The rumors are just that. You could end up with the SAME calipers after the TSB and these pads might fit just fine.. or not.
Nobody really has any inside info right now.

I am just really being a cheapa$$ this season, Christmas kicked my butt! So I have to wait. Budget-wise, I can't afford to spend $90 twice! if they don't fit the updated TSB's parts... if they are even different at all..???

Wow! Thats so funny how many people I meet with the SAME ring plan.
We are doing the same thing too. Lots of broke couples just starting out... We still are broke this season anyways.

We are getting NICE settings and just getting fake stones. Upgrade later when I feel like wasting the money... did I say waste? For some reason the stone is very important to women... nevermind that, don't want to hijack the thread.
