I'm curious, how big is that single inlet and Y pipe? It seems to me there would be better flow and performance from a full dual system even if you stay with a single muffler.

Y-Pipe is 2.5" inlet X 3" out to muff. This is more than adequate for a NA motor. I don't think you'll gain any more flow from a true dual system unless you're running boost. A properly designed SI/SO, SI/DO system will flow as well as any DI/DO system.

The FM y-pipe flows very well, esp compared to the stock one. I've cut my stock y apart and it's pretty sad what Nissan did there....very restrictive.
