Angry Magnaflow exhaust problems

I just went to my local muffler shop today and I found out some really interesting stuff, the Magnaflow dual catback exhaust system has a really BAD FIT. It's so bad that the muffler shop could not fix it. Here's just a small list of the problems. 1, it the drivers side pipe is way to close to the rear differential, so close in fact that if I were to hit a bump any larger than the average speed bump I would crush/damage the pipe. 2, the drivers side is also DAGEROUSLY close the the rubber lines for the limited slip. 3, driver side pipe is really close to the e-brake cables. 4, the whole system just doesn't fit the factory hangers like it should. 5, If you have a tow hitch you my friend are SOL. 6, passenger side pipe sits about 1/2" away from the bottom of the bed due to a really sharp bend that goes excessively far over the rear axle. I am now in the I have already called the company and filed a complaint and they offered me a refund witch I will gladly accept, and go on to purchase a flowmaster system. Just though y'all should know. I'll try to post some pics as I get them.

I just had my dual exhaust put on today with Magnaflow X-Pipe and Spin-Tech mufflers. I was going to post some pics but I do not know why they will not load.
Anyway, I will e-mail you the pics I just took tonight if you like. Just PM me.
I did not run into any issue with the install. They had to customize it a bit but it went very well.
Let me know if you want the pics.

Good point. Sorry about that. I'm not real familiar with that setup.

just crimp the lines for the brakes with some zip ties, becuase of the way titan did the brakes lines, most if not all dual setups have to do this with the lines

and as far as your pipes, just have them weld a new support strut for the pipe you feel is to close to the bed--that bolt on kit is stainless steeel, belive i will take alot more than a bump to trash the pipe

glad you got your money backthough

hope you like it loud on the flow sytsem i heard it locally, and that thing is loud--whoa

The Flowmaster dual exhaust kit clears lines nicely once you adjust the pipes for the best fit/look. When I was looking into custom dual exhausts one shop that had done two Titans (single out Magnaflow jobs) said they thought there would be problems with being too close to brake lines or the spare at the left rear.

The Flowmaster mod has further enlightened my Titan driving experience. It is single in 3", dual out 2.5" - Here is my recent thread on the install with pics and video/sound clips: Flowmaster Installed - video & sound clips

Just got the old system pulled and now have a custom flowmaster put on, the sound is actually a lot better, it's deeper but not as loud, but when I step on it you know I'm coming. It cost me 450 out the door, now I just gotta try to get my money back from the other guy who sold me this system. I'll post some pics when I download them. it's 2 1/2" in with new flowmaster Y pipe, 50 series muffler, 3" back and out the side.

It wants to get up off the line a little better, so I imagine that the TQ and HP went up a bit.
