Ran into a bit of a problem on install that I fixed. I think the Y pipe hanger was bent in shipping or was just made with the bend off. When I installed the Y pipe and then the canister, the canister was hanging way low. There is no way the front hanger on the tail pipe would work. I had to take my truck jack and put it under the C-clamp on the canister and jack it up about 4 inches. This bent the plate for the Y pipe hanger (the one Banks supplied) a bit but everything was ok. Before doing this, I checked and re-checked the fittings. I had everything lined up correctly.
The sound of the Banks was exactly what I am looking for.
It hangs low because you put the included bracket plate upside down (guess how I know this). The original hanger should be on top of the plate, not the bottom. You will have to flatten it back out. I hope you didnt put too much pressure on the exhaust manifolds...
As for the sticker, put it on your toolbox!!

That's the only thing I didn't check. They way things were in the box, I thought hanger got bent. Thanks for the heads up!
So have you checked yet to see if that's what you did? Not to worry, it took me about 10 mins of scratching my head when I did my install trying to make sense of the instructions for that specific piece.

I found out I have to redo the hanger. I don't think anything is messed up though. I think I just have to take it off, flatten it out and reinstall the correct way.
