Sammy can be a little grumpy at times. Don't let it bother you. Very few, if any would search to see if something was previously posted before starting a thread. If you're new to the forum post and ask away - nobody here owns this thing, except maybe ekool.

Did anyone look at JBA's dyno chart? I guess that was with the headers only? Whatever it was, their "stock" dyno run has numbers way below what our trucks are dynoing. Our pre-mod trucks seem to be putting out about at least 250 or so bhp and about 300 lbs. of torque, aren't they?

If JBA's mule was only producing 225 bhp something ain't right. And their torque numbers might be a little high for the stock engine, but maybe not for some of ya'll. Their "before" chart looks more like a 3 valve 5.4 Ford, and we all know they can't run with us.

That dyno chart cools my enthusiasm about their products.

Maybe they used a Mustang Dyno, which will show lower numbers than a Dynojet (which everyone on here is using).

Anyways, JetTech dynoed the JBA headers. After seeing the results, I wont be getting them.

Yeah man. He put alot of work into that mod. He saw gains around 4500 rpm, but not enough for me.

I do admire what he does and how he does it!

Let me prove to you that I wasn't upset with the comment.
I was asked, "Where have you been"?
Let me answer

1. Under a rock!
2. Through the desert on a horse with no name. ( Naah Naah na na Nah)
3. I've been in the barn making the pigs squeal! (just kidding... I tape their lips shut)
4 Orbiting in space. I think I saw U-R-A-nus! (Sorry still working on the Hooked on Phonics series)

Anyway maybe that will get Sammy to smile

I only smile on the inside. Anywho, back to the subject. I believe that those dyno tests were done on a pre-production Titan if my memory serves me. And as mentioned, the gains are minimal at best on not worth the expense.

On Jet's install, he replaced both the pre and aft cats with straight pipes. Gained about 12 Hp (294 rwhp, sae) on the high end, but lost considerable torque.....prob not enough BP. This is with the Volant CAI and Gibson exhaust.

Poor guy, busted his arse on this install......had to drop the front diffy and engine mounts.

I'd wait for some long tube headers to come out. The JBA's are very short and unequal length.

I wonder if the shorties did anything. Just by replacing the cats, he could have gained close to those numbers alone.

I think you could be right on that. Did you see his pics of the oe manifolds? They look like a pretty decent design to me.

He mentioned yesterday that he's pulling the JBA's off this weekend, and reinstalling cats. That's def learning things the hard way!
