Aem

Anyone installed the AEM Brute Force intake yet? I know the Titan doesn't respond too well to the K&N intake so I was just checking if the same thing appies for the AEM.

I have the AEM system on my Titan. It works great however I am a little partial (I work for AEM). It should be released to distributors as I write. I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I do. There are dyno graphs on AEM's website. www.aempower.com

You work for AEM...I'm jealous. Can you get us a discount? Or even a group buy set up directly through the company? I will buy it right now if you can do something.

I'm not sure were you read this at, but I've had no problems with my K&N cold air kit. I'm sure there are more people satisfied with their K&N cold air induction kits than not satisfied.

Probably from the few threads about the oil from the filter messing with the sensors. Is that a problem or is it a few isolated incidents? I would like to know that. I admit I was under the assumption that K&N was not the intake to get as well. What is your experiance with them?

AEM Claims 17.9 HP Gain and 25 lb/ft. Thats the highest claim by non-forced induction system for Titans yet. I wonder if it's valid?

And they have a bad habit of using flywheel numbers, not what is actually gained at the wheels.

hmm never heard them going with flywheel numbers do they just calculate the drivetrain lost? One company I would love us to show some interest in is CP-e they made an intake for th emazda6 that also come with a chip to adjust the a/f ration and made about 20whp

I am not saying AEM is, but other manufacturers have a habit of grossly inflating performance gains. Those AEM numbers look pretty good if they are true!

I wanted an AEM, but it is not enclosed. I was persuaded to go with Volant.
