Im from ls1tech.com and we've been discussing your trucks since they're the only ones that can give us competition. What sort of modified setups you guys runnin NA, FI, N2O etc..
Anybody got any track times stock and with mods?
I think Nissan has done a great job with the v8's you guys got so lets see some numbers and times.
Welcome, and I don't know that answer to that, but you may want to re-post in the General Discussion Thread, More people will see it and respond to it there.
BTW, what are the track times on a stock Z71?

The majority of the ~ stock numbers for the titan here, were 256 Hp and 300 ft/lbs of torque. With a 25% driveline loss, that's a flywheel rating of 341 Hp and 400 ft/lbs of torque. Compared to Nissan's under rated 305 Hp and 379 ft/lbs of torque specification, the truck has much more power than it was rated.
The dodge Ram Hemi dynoed at 261 Hp and 288 ft/lbs of torque here. It's rated by Dodge as 345 Hp and 375 ft/lbs of torque. The Titan is only shy by 5 Hp and up 16 ft/lbs of torque. It seems the Titan Endurance 5.6L DOHC engine is grossly under rated.
Hola Fellow Ls1tech.com member...I put down 260hp/280tq rear wheel with Intake, Aero Turbine exhaust and Tune. I have the 4.8...
Id also like to know what these Titan's are doin there is one at my school with exhaust sounds pretty good havent had a chance to race him yet.
man those are great numbers,
I think these motors are really capable of alot of power when modded its just a matter of time theres not much after market yet and Im shore its going to be expensive, imagine having to buy 4 cams instead of one but at the same time they dont have any valvetrain weight and overhead cams tend to make more hp and have better top end, nissan should incorporate some variable valve timing then you can forget about it
"The Head" is laying down over 400lbs to the rear wheels with an exhaust, intake, and a 50 shot of N2o. He's running in the 13.70's if I remember right. Not to start an arguement, but a stock Z71 with a 5.3 is likely to run in the high 16's maybe even low 17's. Check it out for yourself.
There is a sticky on this section of the forum that has a table of what people are running.
I don't know that the Titans are the only ones that can run with the Chevys. The Hemi guys I run in Houston are running mid 14s to high 13s with some pretty simple mods. Of course the Lightnings pretty much beat all of us like drums.

the head, I am sure he is talking modified. I am also a member of LS1tech.com, but I never check out the truck section. Anyways, there is a huge aftermarket for the LSx series compared to ours. I mean a simple cam swap and huge stall, and the GMs are running pretty fast.
Stock, I only think the Titans and Hemi's are decent competition.
