I dunno, looks like they gained damn near 1/32 of a HP at 6500 RPM on that '98 civic.

I get scared when I see that "as seen on tv" emblem. Has anyone on this forum seen this on tv?

How can you think of TV at a time like this? I am working on getting that 1/32 HP by hooking up the wife's hair dryer using the dryer vent hose.

You could run the thing with a power inverter.

I've been researching electric super chargers on other forums. It seems like using an electric leaf blower will give you more boost than a hair dryer.

Talking

Just put a hampster wheel with a fan attached into your intake. Then, you can just givew the hampster crack from time to time to keep him going and it won't be stealing electric power from your car which would make the alternator run harder, right?

Some people's kids.....

Red face

Well you'll have to come down and show me. I live in Crooks, which is just north of Sioux Falls. Just be careful how you say "Crack Hampsters", as some could get the wrong Idea about your "Preferences" if ya know what I mean.

No no no you guys have it all wrong. What you do is put a 30 gallon compressor in the bed (run it off an inverter of course), then run an air hose to the intake. I can get 150 psi of boost this way. It comes out to like 3,000 hp!!!

That one looks like a joke, but some of them do work. Most of them now have no gains, but when cars switch over to 42 volt electrical in the next 5-10 years, it will be no joke, they will work. They might work really well when the power is available.
