I have the CST lift and I'm very happy with it. I have looked at the fabtec and procomp lifts also, but personally I see and really like the added 1" of lift the CST offers. The CST is completly reversable; and simply 'drops' the factory suspension and keeps all factory angles, etc. Gear ratios don't matter unless you change tire size, which I did. With larger tires you will lose some 'get-up-and-go'. I don't know of anyone here who has changed gears - yet. You will have to re-angle the headlamps - about 10 minutes work you can easily do yourself. Thats about it! The ride IMO is better, but then I also put fox adjustable racing shocks on the back. I think most here that have replaced the rear shocks, lifted truck or not, have experienced an improved ride.

I would be interested in hearing more about your custom headers and computer adjustment...

I went with the 6" fabtech and the quality is amazing. The ride is almost identical, most of the difference that I fell is probably due to the tires. The rear lift on mine consisted of a 2" angled block and an extra leaf for the spring pack. So the rear does ride slightly stiffer. I had to of course replace the rear shocks. The main complaint that I have about mine is that the turning radius is greatly affected. The fabtech comes with brackets that allow you to use your factory skid plate and keeps an overall very clean look.
